This year has seen some high profile moves in the sector across the UK and Europe.

Prior to that he spent 11 years at SIG, rising from national accounts director to the leadership team. The company also recently promoted Owen Lloyd to Group Purchasing Manager for both Morris Lubricants and sister company GB Lubricants.

May saw UEIL President Valentina Serra-Holm join Calumet Specialty Products Partners as Vice President - Global Product Marketing, following a long and distinguished career with Swedish company Nynas AB where she was most recently Director of Global Marketing and Technology.

Songwon Industrial announced leadership changes in the Spring to enhance and expand the Company’s management team. Elena Scaltritti was appointed Division Leader of Industrial Chemicals for Songwon which includes the Polymer Stabilizers and Fuel and Lubes businesses. She has also been appointed a member of the Executive Committee, having joined the company in 2011. Additionally, Gerard Mulqueen, who joined Songwon in 2016, has taken on the role of Leader Fuel & Lubes Business Unit.

As well as moves within the industry, we have had our own changes this year at Eleven Recruitment. Lubricants & Chemicals desk lead recruiter Keeley Robinson has moved on to pastures new, pursuing her recruitment career in a new area.

Nick Smith, Managing Director said, “I’m sure you will all share my regret that Keeley will no longer be part of the Lubricants community but wish her well in her new endeavours. She has been a well-respected and successful lead recruiter for many years, having built excellent relationships with both clients and candidates alike, across the UK and Europe.”

Keeley has also been an exceptional exemplar of our candidate service focused ethos, as demonstrated by her regular 5-star Feefo reviews!
