Senior Accountant

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a highly successful and rapidly growing business based in London.

Due to continued growth a Senior Accountant is required to join a high calibre and well-established finance team.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for full sets of accounts
• Performing data entries, month-close activities, and assistance in daily operations
• Consolidation and reporting of financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Preparing monthly and yearly financial reports per internal and external requirements
• Preparing annual budget, monthly analysis and forecasting to the management and HQ
• liaising with auditors, government regulators and organising relevant materials, completing the preparation and issuance of UK FC;
• Responsible for company’s cash flow and liaison with banks
• Any other ad-hoc tasks and new responsibilities that will be crucial to the development of the role as the business expands

Skills & Experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant accounting experience
• Familiar with international accounting standards and Tax & Tax Concessionary Scheme
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures, including preparing month-end reports and financial forecasts • Numerate and computer literate (experience of SAP desirable)
• Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently and to tight deadlines
• Experience with IFRS and UK statutory accounting and reporting requirements
• Strong budgeting and forecasting experience
• Previous experience within oil & gas industry
