Senior Process Development Engineer

Eleven have been retained to find a Senior Chemical Engineer to develop and scale innovative chemistries, products and processes using pioneering technologies.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record within conceptual and feasibility design, process development, scale up and project management through to pilot and full scale manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and optimisation of processes to enhance performance and scalability.
• Uphold and drive an outstanding safety culture, actively participating in process safety studies.
• Facilitate the adoption and commercialisation of new technologies through effective leadership in customer and technical programs.
• Manage and document engineering processes to maximize operational effectiveness and meet strategic goals.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering
• Significant experience in process development and scale up, preferably highly reactive chemistries
• Strong background in process safety, hazard identification, risk assessments, and developing safety protocols.
• Proficient in technical drawing interpretation (PFDs, P&IDs) and familiar with tools like Excel and AutoCAD; Aspen is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing multifunctional technical teams and projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
