This growing Oil Supply & Trading business are looking to hire a Jet Fuel Operator in their London office. The role will be a six month contract with the potential to go permanent. Role & Responsibilities: Takes ownership of deal cycle from drafting of contracts to cargo and shipping operations and documentation. Applies understanding of GT&Cs and charter parties and managing cargo and shipping issues in line with the contract and charter-party requirements. Implements effective shipping and cargo assurance procedures, providing assurance on quality and quantity issues & investigation, resolving claims and disputes effectively. Deep understanding of book strategy and applies understanding of market drivers to optimize value of transaction. Timely submission of demurrage claims to ensure no time-bar issues. Actively seeking ways to minimize delays and ship operating costs. Good understanding of storage contract terminology, storage agreement and awareness of terminal infrastructure and operational flexibilities. Manages stock inventories and terminal operational performances. Actively seeking ways to optimize our storage tanks. Follow through each cargo delivery by working closely with surveyor and shipping agents to help manage and mitigates cargo and shipping operational risks. Anticipate problems and take proactive actions to ensure smooth delivery, optimize value and proactively minimize demurrage exposure. Work closely with Trading, Legal, Finance and Risk to ensure each transaction is carried out timely, accurately and professionally. Ensure LCs are timely issued and received within contractual obligations and compliance requirements. Develop business process improvements, and is proactive and constructive in challenging others. Build and maintain key relationship for the business activities and fosters relationships across all stakeholders and within own department. Demonstrates ability to influence others in pursuit of commercial optimization for specific operations activities. Ensure cargo and storage insurance coverage within own bench is being managed. Anticipates and manages crisis situation and to support emergency role as and when the situation demand. Source market intelligence and share among the team members and Traders for better decision making. Operates within Delegation of Authority (DOA), Management Directives (MD) and company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain timely and accurate records in relevant system and spreadsheets. Scheduling and monitoring of pipeline, truck and vessel deliveries from import terminal into various locations (mainly airports) across Europe. Developed relationship with 3rd party service provider such as Into-Plane agents, managing agents of storage and transport facilities. Manage the company's jet fuel inventories including scheduling and inventory data in the storage. Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Management, not limiting to providing cover and support to other benches and wider operations as and when required. Requirements: Degree in any discipline Minimum 2 years' of relevant experience in operations and supply chain of aviation jet fuel. Knowledge in LC and shipping documentations. Driven, strong relationship and interpersonal skills. A team player with ability to operate independently. Methodical, well-organized and have an ability to work under pressure Good commercial understanding, analytical ability and numerate Strong system and PC skills, including spreadsheet and word processing

This well known Oil Trading Company is looking to hire a Demurrage Analyst in their Rotterdam office. Job Purpose: Ensure efficient and thorough management of demurrage claims in order to minimize demurrage costs for Company and to maximize recovery of demurrage claims influencing directly deal's P&L. Handle Claims and related matters To ensure that all claims for recovering demurrage are issued meeting time bar deadlines. In case of discovering that any claim has missed time bar deadlines or is near to time bar deadline, to immediately advise Demurrage Manager for prompt action. To ensure that all claims are sent out complete with all supporting documents (so they cannot be rejected.), to make accruals in the system and issue invoices. To ensure that a response is received from recipient confirming receipt. To keep accurate records of claims sent/ received. To manage set-off and claim finalization projects. Handle Contract related matters Assist Manager in drafting amendments and reviewing contracts and taking initiative on contract and procedure optimization. To be familiar with Term Contract Demurrage Clauses with third parties and Shipping Term Contracts, Shipping terms, Charter Parties and their application. Administrative, financial and reporting responsibilities To assist accountings if reminders and chasers for cash collection have failed for over 3 months. To check overdue receivables on the list produced by a treasury SAP report on a weekly basis. Maintain close communication and co-ordination with Operations, Trading and Shipping in order to ensure a continuous and accurate exchange of information on potential demurrage claims. To check Operator has provided a complete file. In absence of any document required on Demurrage Checklist then to request from Operator concerned. If required documentation in not provided promptly then to advise Demurrage Manager and Operations Desk Leader. Reporting to Demurrage Manager and to provide any information/ reports that Demurrage Manager may require. To provide reports and analysis of individual business partners. Crude Oil Operator

This well known Oil Company in London is looking to hire a Crude Oil Operator. The role is within the Trading Operations department and fully integrated into the Crude Oil Trading team. The Role In close co-ordination with the relevant oil trading team, manage the oil operations related to the execution of commodity contracts through the deal life-cycle. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: (i) set-up of documentary instructions; (ii) dealing with Inspection Companies for related cargo quality/quantity controls; (iii) managing demurrage claims; (iv) certifying subject delivered performances and (if any) the consequent costs; Be the first point of contact for all internal communication and co-operation regarding the operated cargoes such as shipping, credit, etc.; Keep the company's position keeping system timely and accurately up-to-date with all latest data regarding cargoes including b/l dates, actual volumes etc.; Maintain a good relationship with internal clients and counterparties; Deal with an "ad hoc" requests related to operations activities generated by Trading Team. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day trading operations for the relevant commodities aiming at maximising value, reducing costs and increasing efficiency; Manage voyage orders; pro-forma invoice; documentary instructions; vessel nominations; request of opening the Letter of Credit; Provisional and Final cargo insurance; Narrowing/Nomination of dates/quantities; Vessel clearance, etc.; Manage claims of ancillary costs such as freight differential; deviation cost; dead-freight and monitor progress of their resolutions; Build and maintain good working relationships and daily communication with the operations team of relevant counterparties; Be the focal point for all communication with terminals regarding nominations of loading programs etc.; Manage relationships and communication with terminals and company departments to ensure efficiency of operations activities.
