BUSINESS OVERVIEW Markets & Products: Our client provides access to a range of energy and commodity products including natural gas, power, emissions, crude oil, refined products and coal. They actively trade on a number of exchanges and OTC markets. They provide pricing and liquidity on standard products as well as more complex and structured strategies, including spot, futures, forwards, options, swaps, swaptions, index products, swings and spreads in various currencies. Trading & Execution: The experienced Trading & Execution teams provide Clients with access to energy market liquidity, market intelligence, analysis and energy pricing for spot or forward curve management. Clients can also access their online trading platform, which offers live market pricing and the ability to securely trade a range of commodities and other products. Primary Responsibilities: European cross-commodity trader for mainly power and gas in illiquid markets (Carbon, also oil and other markets to build a strong client business) Focus on promoting and helping to build a client business with corporates Making markets Travelling with sales people Producing bespoke trades / structures with experience of both cleared and OTC business. Proprietary trading around the clients Experience: 5+ years Trading Experience working in a banking environment Ability to promote a client business
Oil Corporate Sales Specialist

My client is looking for an Oil Corporate Sales Specialist to work for an investment firm focused on cross commodity trading across physical and financial Emissions, Oil, Coal, Power, Gas and Weather Derivatives. The firm has significant carbon experience commercialising credits, fund management, trading, development and origination. Description Business Overview: The commodities team work with corporate clients and public sector to originate and structure derivatives solutions in Flow Trading and Structured Solutions. Transactions arise largely from client risk management needs in the Commodities and Credit spaces. Core topics for solutions origination include financing, liquidity, and risk management Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for generating revenue on corporates (Public, Large Corporates, SME, etc) side of the products suite. To pro-actively drive derivative product distribution across borders into the corporate clients. To explore new products and consultative solution with specialisation on oil. To continually explore opportunities with new accounts and deepening of relationship with existing clients. To cooperate and work with colleagues locally and globally across different functions.
