Are you an ambitious and dynamic individual looking for your next career? Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to join their Bulk Fuels Sales Team. This is one of the largest independent fuel suppliers in the UK, supplying in excess of 1 billion litres of fuel per year. About the role… The role will be based at their Head Office in Somerset (close to Bristol) and will involve regular contact with both new and existing customers, to build (and most importantly, maintain) strong working relationships with a 'sales through service' approach. With the fast-paced nature and constant variables in the fuel markets, the ideal candidate will have excellent commercial thinking in order to effectively manage stock positions and capitalise on profitable opportunities. This role will appeal to anyone with a genuine desire to further develop business skills and industry knowledge, in a fast moving and commercially interesting environment. Skills and experience needed… Whilst previous experience in an Account Management / Sales position would be beneficial, it is not essential as full training would be provided. Preferred: Some experience in an account management / sales position Some knowledge or experience of the fuels sector Experience working in a B2B environment Required: Excellent communication skills Relationship Management – Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and key stakeholders Commercial awareness – You will need to be able to identify and convert opportunities as well as maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments and government regulations that effect target markets Using initiative to find new ways of working and contribute to team best practice You will be able to work independently as well as part of a team You should have a strong desire for personal development You will have a general understanding of office business skills and be IT Literate Qualifications - GCSEs (or new 2017 standard grades 9-4) at grade C or above in Maths & English Summary: This role offers excellent career opportunities for the right individual. The basic salary will be between £21,000 and £24,000 depending on experience but with opportunity to earn bonus. Hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and the role is office based. We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with several years’ marketing experience. You will be joining a well-established and ambitious fuels distributor with a strong UK presence who are also one of the leading providers of fuel cards across the UK. About the role: This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for someone with the right experience to lead all aspects of marketing for the company, including their website, social media and advertising campaigns. You would have autonomy to influence and deliver marketing strategy for the business. The role will report directly into the company Managing Director and at this stage you would not have any direct reports but this could change as the role evolves. You would work closely with the telesales team to help deliver the business' ambitious growth plans and would be the main channel of communication between the business and their external marketing provider. Skills and experience required for the role: You will be a strong communicator, have experience in working with CRM systems, be accomplished in developing and delivering effective marketing campaigns and authoring website and social media material. You will have worked in a senior marketing role for a company with a B2B sales focus Although not essential, some experience, knowledge of or insight into the fuels or relative sectors would be advantageous. Summary: The role is based in Somerset (close to Bristol) and would require someone to spend most of their time at the company's head office; some flexibility in hours / home working could be an option for this role. Please note - The company are not able to offer sponsorship or financial support with relocation so you must either be based locally or have the flexibility to move to a suitable location independently. You will need to have permission to live and work in the UK indefinitely. This role offers a competitive basic salary of between £35,000 and £45,000 plus benefits depending on experience.
