We're working with a leading marketing and commodities trading firm based in London, looking for a Trade Finance Analyst.
The ideal candidate will be part of the trade finance team to support the VP of Finance in carrying out all aspects of the day-to-day trade finance requirements of the company. You will interact on a regular basis with other finance colleagues as well as colleagues in legal, logistics and settlements departments.
Daily processing of transactional trade finance requests, ensuring banks have all required security and information documents to support financing
Processing of borrowing base certificates, ensuring consistent accurate reporting across multiple banking lines
Projections of working capital trade finance requirements and line utilisation across multiple banking lines
Monitoring and analysis of utilisation, interest and other charges applied by banks
Liaising with and providing advice to different teams/departments to optimise utilisation of lines
Maintaining positive relationship with banks
Provide support to the trade finance functions in daily processing and assist in handling of trade finance transactional matters including transactional based and borrowing base facilities.

Skills and experience required:
Bachelor’s or higher degree
Knowledge of commodity trade finance facilities (transactional and borrowing base facilities)
Experience in similar role (minimum 2 years)
Well organised, self-motivated with ability to use initiative and manage own workload
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to examine issues and propose workable solutions to management to resolve
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
