Our client is a leading service provider to the fleet and logistics market and is looking to recruit for a newly created role. We are recruiting a Bunkering Business Development Manager who is self motivated with the ability to negotiate with and present to senior stakeholders within potential businesses. A successful track record of working within the fuel sector is essential and the successful candidate will be reporting into the UK Regional Director. You will be covering the whole of the UK initially so you must be prepared to travel - the role does offer a company car as part of it's package.

Generate and manage pipeline creating new volume opportunities.
Network, cold call and work with regional fuel sales teams to identify prospective bunkering customers.
Prepare proposals, working with Marketing to ensure we have first class customer collateral to support business development activities.
Work with the Commercial Team to structure commercial pricing for new customers.
Manage the Bunkering Sales Consultant to ensure the existing customer base is well serviced and regularly reviewed.
Work closely with Credit to ensure that risk is managed appropriately, and the company's position is secured and protected for potential exposure.
Drive the innovation and strategy of the UK Bunkering product based on customer feedback, market dynamics and commercial opportunity.

Ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders in prospective companies - these will typically be Transport Managers or Company Owners
Strong presentation skills and able to effectively pitch for business
High level of commercial acumen
Self-starter - ability to operate in the field and source own opportunities
