Eleven recruitment is working with a global Chemical manufacturing company creating both industrial and commercial products to assist and improve day to day life. They are looking to implement new systems on their site in order to optimise efficiency of production.
We are looking for a CI Engineer (Control and instrumentation) to work initially on a large build and implementation of DCS (Delta V) as large level investment is being made in development of the sites automation.
You will need a broad ECI qualification and experience, Chemicals / similar process industry background, and experience of projects and maintenance, as well as IT infrastructure and Cybersecurity a bonus.
•Being the focal point for the DCS systems for site ensuring equipment and services are maintained.
•Ensure that plant problems are thoroughly investigated, and report and recommend solutions in order to improve safety, reliability, efficiencies and costs.
•Overhauling existing plant equipment in order to improve reliability, safety and production.
•Leading the site Control and Instrumentation CAPEX projects
•Degree in E/C/I engineer or similar
•Demonstrable DCS implementation (DeltaV advantageous)
•Experience of planning maintenance and overhauling of onsite equipment.
•Experience working on and leading Capital Projects
•Career history of working with the chemical industry (CoMAH)
•IT infrastructure and Cybersecurity advantageous
