We have a great opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst to work with an international trading house in Central London
As key member of the London Credit team, you will help facilitate the continued development of our energy trading business worldwide. With counterparty analysis as a core competency, the successful candidate will bring industry experience and expertise, preferably with a strong knowledge of commodity trading activities focused on gas, power, derivatives and LNG. You will analyse and help to structure new business initiatives, negotiate credit support arrangements and analyse a diverse range of counterparties allowing you to contribute significantly to the business.
The ideal applicant will have counterparty/credit risk knowledge acquired within a commodities house, energy company or financial services company that is active in physical commodity trading. Additional requirements include:
Educated to degree level (minimum 2.1 or higher).
Self-motivated with high energy levels and result-driven.
Sound analytical and lateral thinking ability. Must be detail-oriented.
Team player who can provide analyst cover within the credit team.
Demonstrating highly developed inter-personal skills, sensitivity to local cultural differences and the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner is important to this position.
Proficiency in Excel and VBA (or alternative).
