Are you an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Technician looking for your next challenging and diverse role?
Our client is looking for someone with strong electrical and instrumentation competency to join its busy site-based team in the North East of England within their chemicals manufacturing business.
You would be a strong candidate for this role if you have:
Strong electrical and instrumentation competency with extensive experience in troubleshooting and installation work.
Knowledge and experience of regulations and EHS requirements associated with a top tier CoMAH site.
Qualifications in hazardous area working (CompEx) as well as 18th Edition wiring regulations.
Demonstrated experience in the installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
Some of your responsibilities of the role would be:
Carrying out electrical and instrumentation works to a high standard and within required time-frames, to maintain plant efficiency.
Using CMMS job sheets for routine maintenance, calibration and testing of site equipment.
Supporting the engineering team in responding to business requirements and performing additional ad-hoc tasks as required.
Reporting on any equipment defects and alarms appropriately, highlighting any safety problems, in compliance with Company QHSE policies and legal requirements.
Identifying potential continuous improvement opportunities to improve plant operation and control.
Assisting the E&I Supervisor in all areas of his work including the management of maintenance and construction schedules.
Promoting good HSE practice and positively contributing to the engineering and production performance objectives.
