Our client is looking to appoint an experienced individual to manage and optimise all aspects of their energy revenues. This individual will be a self-starter and will successfully integrate across the business from plant control room to board room in order to ensure that relevant systems, processes and reporting are embedded, and key analysis of energy revenues and commercial outcomes, risks and opportunities relating to energy markets are well understood.
A newly appointed role within the commercial function reporting directly to the C-suite. A successful candidate will grasp the opportunity to develop an energy markets function and will work to continually improve the way that the company engages with energy markets and develops opportunities to enhance revenues, reduce costs and manage risks relevant to energy markets.
In addition to its existing waste and recycling infrastructure in London, our client has exciting future plans with a new 650ktpa energy from waste plant to begin construction in 2022, and a number of other significant revenue enhancing opportunities in development – many of which are directly related to energy revenues (e.g. heat network, private wire, battery storage). The new efw plant alone will double the scale of the business and the right candidate will be central to the successful execution of the growth plans.
