We have an opportunity in the North East for an Engineering Supervisor with CoMAH site experience within the chemicals sector.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
Previous leadership/ supervisory experience in a top tier CoMAH environment
Strong electrical and instrumentation experience in troubleshooting and installation work, as well as exposure to mechanical works
Qualifications in hazardous area working (CompEx) as well as 18th Edition wiring regulations.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and EH&S legislative requirements for CoMAH sites
This varied role includes:
Supervising a team of engineering technicians (E&I and Mechanical) to carry out their tasks safely and efficiently, whilst complying with Company guidelines and HSE requirements
Managing the installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of all equipment and instrumentation on site, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard.
Supporting the engineering team in identifying repairs and upgrades, as well as performing additional tasks to maximise and maintain plant efficiency.
Promoting a positive health and safety culture and adhering to Company policies and procedures
Assisting the Engineering Manager with all areas of his work and deputising as required
