OVERVIEW
JOB TITLE: Internal Sales / Customer Service Coordinator
LOCATION: Runcorn/Widnes
SECTOR: Chemical Supply / Distribution

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Internal Sales / Customer Service Coordinator to join a leading, long established speciality chemical distributor here in the North West. Reporting into the Business Director you will be a driven and enthusiastic individual with excellent operational B2B customer service skills. We are looking for a minimum of 1 years experience (ideally 2-3) in a similar internal sales support role or customer service role, building relationships, and communicating at all levels cross business.

Knowledge of the specialty chemicals industry is a distinct advantage though not essential and you will be enjoy taking on full account ownership and managing relationships for your assigned accounts.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration, customer service, and sales support skills looking to be part of a 'family feel' business. Perhaps someone looking to return to work after a career break or an individual at the start of their career looking to operate in a sales team environment in the chemicals sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and record incoming price enquiries and converting these to orders
Processing of sales orders and quotations
Order tracking - customer updates
Maintain accurate sales records
Build strong customer relationships both internally and externally
Work closely with other internal teams to maintain the highest level of customer service
Work closely with the business development and external sales teams to ensure all sales opportunities are maximized

KEY SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES
Experience of working in an internal sales support / customer service role for a production or distribution company
Ability to handle enquiries from an assigned group of customers (telephone and email)
Good communication and relationship building skills are essential
Fully pc literate (full system training will be provided)
Self motivated and a good team player
Knowledge of the speciality chemicals industry will be a distinct advantage
Experience of working with a manufacturing or distribution company is highly desirable

REMUNERATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, bonus, pension etc
