We have a rare opportunity to be part of an exciting new department for an established business. Our client is an independent family operated and growth focused business looking to develop a new department with the appointment of a Lubricants Manager. This will be a role that combines a strategic and operational mind set and allow for autonomy to direct the evolution of the lubricants department. The focus will be on building the lubricants offering to their established client base and additionally engaging and developing new business strategies.
Your knowledge of the lubricants sector will be solid with an established network of contacts within the industry ideally developed working for an established lubricants brand. A strong technical knowledge across markets will be a key platform for your credibility allowing you to confidently implement the vision that you have help define. The company has implemented year on year growth strategies in their core market establishing their credibility in the market. This role offers great scope and autonomy.
Strategic planning - using proven credible knowledge of the lubricants sector to assist with the formulation and implementation of the strategic vision
Sales growth strategies - demonstrating a grounded and proven understanding of implementing a growth focused sales strategy
Technical insight - applying technical 'know-how' and a practical application focus to offer technical value sell methodology
Product development - assist in the selection criteria of their lubricant partner
Work closely with the Management team and other key business functions including operations and marketing
Demonstrate strong customer service focused delivery across all stakeholders
A proven successful track record of senior sales across a range of market sectors including automotive, industrial and marine
Technical insight through credible client relationship building
Long term business relationship skillset
Robust business development skills including value sell concept application to warm and new contacts
Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills at all levels
Inquisitive and able to build on industry knowledge and identify market trends to act upon opportunities
Competitive base salary up to £45,000, salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus and car allowance or lease, pension and a structure working week of Monday - Friday 35 hours.
