Are you a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias, looking for a new challenge?

This role with a large Manchester-based chemicals manufacturer is varied, dealing with pumps, conveyors etc as well as a mixture of electrical and mechanical maintenance works in a CoMAH regulated site.

Due to the current make-up of the Multi-skilled Maintenance department, we are looking for someone that is Electrically biased, to complement the existing team. We need a fully qualified Electrical Engineer, with either mechanical qualifications or experience on top.

A pre-requisite for the position is to have worked in a similar highly regulated / hazardous environment, ideally having worked on a CoMAH regulated site. ​

Remuneration

  • The position pays between £30-38,000/year, depending on experience.

  • This is a Monday through Friday role, but there is Weekday and Weekend Overtime available, taking potential earnings between £35-40K

Qualifications, skills and experience

  • Formal Electrical Engineering qualifications

  • Formal Mechanical qualifications or experience

  • 18th edition wiring regs

  • Chemicals / CoMAH industry experience

  • Willingness and Ability to working on a varied and physically demanding site

  • Excellent Fault finding and problem solving abilities.
