Are you a Product Manager with several years’ experience in Lubricants, Chemicals and or Additives? You will be working for a forward thinking and innovative global manufacturer, supplier and distributor who provide a varied and diverse product set to their clients. The UK head office is in the south of England and the role will be mainly office based but there could be flexibility for some home working.
You will apply your previous chemistry experience and become a product/technical expert across a diverse range of existing and new products. Providing effective project management, co-ordination and collaboration, you will liaise with clients, colleagues and key stakeholders to provide technical support, playing a strategic part in new product development.
The ideal candidate:
You may be someone who currently works in a role of Technical Support or Technical Liaison but must have come from a chemistry background with commercial experience, ideally involving product development.
Skills and experience required:
Degree qualified in Chemistry or another related field
At least 5 years’ experience working in the Chemicals sector
Skilled at communicating across all levels – from dealing with OEMs and clients to advising and supporting the technicians working in the lab
Experience as a Chemist/Technologist in a relative sector and be able to demonstrate both commercial and technical understanding
A strong working knowledge of formulation and proven project management skills
Experience in polymers, coatings, waxes and/or surfactants would be an advantage.
