ASSIGNMENT
This is a role for a Risk Analyst to join the Market Risk team.
The role available is in the reporting and projects team that sits centrally in market risk.
The team co-ordinates and drives projects across market risk giving them team insight into the different markets we trade.
In addition the team drives the reporting of Market risk as a whole to senior management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Run the central reports to senior management;
Improve the processes;
Assist in projects;
Build knowledge of markets and market risk.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports to the Market Risk Manager of the Risk Management & Middle Office Department in London and includes the following interfaces:
Internal - Front Office, Back Office, IT, eni finance and Middle Office on a daily basis;
External - relevant industry contacts

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS
Strong academic credentials with a numeracy-oriented specialization, preferably in Mathematics, Physics, Finance or quantitative discipline;
Ability to understand and discuss VaR, Stress and greeks assisting in commentary and development;
Strong Excel skills with macros and VBA knowledge, SQL essential
Working experience with ENDUR/AMPHORA desired;
Knowledge of the subject and relevant experience in trading environment are desired;
1-2 years of experience in Oil / Gas or Power market risk department are desired;
Knowledge and understanding of the crude Oil / Gas or Power markets, the financial/physical instruments commonly used for risk management.
