Reporting directly into the Managing Director of a fast paced business you will be supporting the MD with the negotiation of several annual supply contracts ensuring these contracts are achieved within the parameters set by the suppliers.
You will oversee the ongoing development of the Bulk team consisting currently of 3 Logistics Controllers, 2 Sales and Supply Supervisors, 1 new Business Development Manager and 9 Account Managers. The role will require continual development of customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer service are maintained whilst maximising opportunities in the market.

Develop and oversee key customer relationships, working with the decision maker of the businesses
Develop the sales team through motivation, market and product knowledge
Liaise with the logistics co-ordinators to ensure that customer requirements are upheld
Develop growth within the business through motivating the team for new and regained business
Understand our customer requirements to continue to offer high-end customer service
Understand the UK supply chain, build relationships with suppliers and assist in the annual supply negotiations
Monitor monthly performance against targets and the market environment to identify irregularities to enable quick rectification

Knowledge of the UK Oil markets and a good understanding of the UK pricing structure
A strong understanding of the supply chain process
Experience in managing teams
Experience in customer relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent IT understanding
Requires strong values for honesty and integrity
Excellent attention to details
