We are looking to recruit an experience field based Sales Manager/ Business Development Manager to cover the East Anglia region.  Our client is a leading Chemical Distributor and the successful applicant will be selling Ad Blue across a wide variety of clients.  New business development is key to this role as well as managing existing accounts.  Ideally you will have experience of working within at least one of the following (or similar) sectors fuel/ oil/ automotive/ commercial vehicles/agricultural.   

Implement strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve revenue, margin and volume targets
Implement the Account Plan covering products, services packages, contracts, prices, credit terms and credit limits for customers and prospects
Have a knowledge of key competitors/ gain a knowledge of and understand their strengths and weaknesses
Actively seek new business opportunities in designated territory within fuel/oil/commercial distributor, commercial, car, off highway and agricultural markets
Implementation of successful sales / profitability strategies focusing on these customers and channels
Be aware and monitor the changing market and customer needs/business environments to ensure client needs are met

Sales and business development experience in one or more of the following markets: fuel, oil, commercial distributor, automotive, commercial vehicle, off highway or agricultural (or similar)
Links to, or experience from distributors in the automotive, transport sectors would be a       distinct advantage
Proven negotiation, influence / persuasion and presentation skills
Strong written, oral communication skills coupled with excellent planning and organisational ability
Results oriented, highly motivated, with strong work ethic
Demonstrable track record of selling & negotiation, results delivery, customer relationship management, and market awareness
Computer literate with skills in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

£28-30k basic salary + uncapped company bonus structure + fully expensed car.  Additional benefits include pension scheme, medical and critical illness cover.
