Are you an experienced fuels sales manager with looking to join a dynamic and growing business?
We are working with a national fuels supply business, part of a recognised group of companies within the fuels sector, which has grown significantly over the past 5 years. They are looking to add an experienced sales manager to their team. They have market leading brands and a vast network of distributor partnerships across the UK.
This is an office-based role in the North (accessible from Manchester and Leeds) so you must be based in that region or able to relocate / travel to the office in West Yorkshire.
Working within an experienced sales team, this is primarily an office based role, some UK travel may be required
You will be expected to proactively identify new business opportunities across a range of sectors
You will manage client and broker relationships to ensure service delivery and company standards are maintained
You will manage customer orders and find suitable providers to meet the requirement
You will need to co-ordinate and facilitate supply of various fuels products on an emergency / one-off basis and optimise the opportunity to seek repeat business and retain clients
The ideal candiate will have:
Several years’ sales / business development experience within the fuels sector
An in-depth understanding of the supply chain and routes to market for UK fuels businesses including domestic, commercial, agricultural and industrial
People and sales management experience - Able to drive the delivery of an experienced team
Demonstrable success with Key Account Management - You will be able to win new and retain existing large accounts
Customer and results focus - An enthusiasm to increase quality of performance and level of activity at all times
On offer is a salary in the region of £30k - £35k plus bonus and other company benefits.
