OVERVIEW
Exciting time to join this expanding distribution business. I am recruiting for a Business Development Manager who very much enjoys being on the road. This is predominantly a new business role targeting commercial customers within an approx 30 mile radius of Grangemouth. Ideally you will have a fuels or similar background, love achieving and exceeding targets and have the ability to develop successful business relationships. Immediate start available, must have a full UK driving license.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop individual account strategies supporting company goals and objectives; analyse/solve customer business issues and present meaningful recommendations/solutions
Identify new potential customers and approach them with our offering
Responsible for improvement of customer revenue, volume and gross margin through the application of Company business tools and guidelines
Responsible for the development and management of a robust and realistic new business pipeline
Enhance company visibility through promotion and networking
Maintain supplier relationships
Monitor and report on sales within specified area
Provide timely management reporting and information
Learn all company systems and processes to assist in back office operations if necessary
Liaise closely with customer service colleagues in Head Office

REQUIREMENTS
Field based sales and new business development experience. Ideally gained selling into Commercial and Industrial Customer base
Key account management experience
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
Have a successful track record in a competitive sales environment

REMUNERATION
£27k + car allowance + laptop + phone + commission structure
