Our client is a leading provider of customised hedging solutions for the management of price risk on fuel expenses. Combining in-depth knowledge of the oil market, finance and transport, they help clients protect their margins from the risk posed by notoriously volatile fuel prices. They are looking to recruit a Credit Manager in Denmark.

Credit applications are issued from all of their office locations and the Credit Manager will be responsible for the entire credit line portfolio.

Maintain the corporate credit policy
Recommend changes in the credit policy to senior management
Accept/Reject credit applications up to >>limit credit, future exposure, MTS, tenor<<
Be able to have a full overview and knowledge about all present credit lines regardless if some are below the Credit Managers delegated mandate
Draw out and monitor process for credit application, credit acceptance/rejection/follow-up and late payment
Ensure standards and procedures are being followed
Investigate the largest customer credit applications
Visit the largest customers (together with ORM) to establish relations
Perform periodic credit reviews, investigate provisions for bad debt and bad debt handling
General reporting to Management
Manage relations with the sales department
Provide for ongoing training of sales people/Back office

Desired Qualifications:
5+ years of credit experience in the international market.
Bachelor's degree in business and experience with credit scoring systems and processes outlining is preferred.
Have a thorough knowledge of credit-related laws.
Have experience with customer negotiations and business acumen.
Be willing to periodically travel to customer sites.
